Uniform & PE Kit
The children chose our new school logo in Summer Term 2022. This was a perfect opportunity to review the school uniform policy. In order to accommodate the change, we are phasing in our new uniform policy to maximise clothing items that can still be worn.
Here is the letter that we sent to parents/carers to communicate the change.
Our School Uniform
Here's a quick guide to our uniform. Children should wear:
Shoes & Socks
These should be either plain black trainers (no branding/logo) or formal black shoes/flat boots (no heel). Socks should be navy blue or white.
Trousers
These should be plain navy. Jogging bottoms are not part of the standard uniform.
Skirts, Tights & Dresses
Skirts should be plain navy and to the knee. Tights should be navy. Winter dresses should be plain navy/blue pinafore style. Summer dresses should be navy/blue or red pinstriped or gingham.
Shirts
These should be plain white and either long or short sleeve. Polo shirts or formal shirts can be worn. Shirts & Ties for Year 6 children. They should wear white formal shirts in readiness for their transition to high school.
Sweatshirts & Cardigans
These should be plain red. They can be V neck or round neck.
PE Kit
Your child’s PE days will be communicated to you nearer the start of the term. On these days, children can attend school in their PE Kit, reducing the need for changing.
PE Kit for summer months should be:
- Trainers (any style/colour)
- White Polo/T-Shirt
- Navy blue shorts
- Red/Navy sweatshirt
In winter months children may wear a tracksuit/jogging bottoms/leggings (of any style/colour) or a hoodie.
Labelling Items
Please ensure that all personal items (clothing, bags, etc.) are clearly labelled.
